I’m an artist with a love for the natural world and finding ways to express it. I work mostly in charcoal (both black and white) and in pen and ink.

Most of what I create is from my surroundings here in the southern US or based on my own imagination from something I read. I love books and find them as an endless inspiration.

I’m also a lettering and illustration artist. I create illustrations for books, posters, cards, notebooks, and anything else story related. You can see my commercial work and portfolio at Mary Kathleen Illustration and my card and notebook line at Breadcrumbs Studio.
